Despite all of our connectivity options, you might be surprised to learn that most viewing is still free, streamed live or played on TV, in fact 86%. On average, Australians watch 2 hours and 39 minutes of broadcast TV every day. Five years ago, they watched 3 hours and 10 minutes.
With the ability to connect our TV screens, the humble TV has many other additional uses.
Which TV has the most advanced features that can give you a wide range of viewing options? TCL has the answer. TCL has a wide variety of TVs ranging from a 22-inch screen to an 85-inch screen. Different TCL TVs have different features.
Android
Android TV allows you to play your favorite content through a connection. The Android platform is the nerve center of television and gives you all the access to the Internet so your TV can communicate with all kinds of social and streaming content. The TV hardware is interactive. You can simply speak into the remote’s microphone and ask Google a question. It will also allow your phone or tablet to communicate with your TV. You can stream movies, music, or shows from another device directly to your TV.
HDR
This stands for HIGH DEFINITION RANGE. It increases image detail, brightness, and unprecedented color gamut. It promotes a more realistic color image, such as the way we see color in nature.
Local Dimming
Provides precise light control and brightness enhancement that provides a better contrast ratio. This is important because with today’s LED light passes through the LCD screen to give the pixels their color. Occasionally the light passes through very small places where it shouldn’t be, this creates a halo around the darker areas of the screen. Local dimming shuts down individual pixel clusters to keep the black and white brightness intact.
Quantum Dot
Improves image quality and color volume. This occurs when different lighting hits the LED lights on LCD screens. These LEDs in most LCD screens emit white light, the Quantum Dot versions emit blue light.
Wide color gamut
It provides picture quality with richer and more natural colors by expanding the color gamut. In short, your blue is blue, green is green, etc. This allows the TV to display more colors. The wide color gamut starts by deepening the palette. Then it intensifies secondary colors such as canyons, magentas, yellows, etc. This explosion of color was too deep for HDTV, but with HDR the color reproduction is unparalleled. The next thing that wide color gamut provides is wide bit depth.
